Carb Content of Turtle Egg

Eggs contain less than 1 gram of carbohydrate, so they are commonly recommended by most low carb diets. In addition, eggs are probably the best source of protein. However, some egg-dishes - like quiche - are high in carbs due to their pastry content.

Eggs and Diet

Previously, the dietary and nutritional benefits of egg foods, like Turtle Egg, were balanced by worries over their cholesterol content (270mg). However, experts now consider that this risk may have been exaggerated. Even so, main stream nutritionists and dietitians still counsel dieters not to eat eggs regularly unless they maintain an otherwise low-cholesterol eating plan.
